A Taste of Kimpura

Bestbud J has always been raving about Kimpura as one of her favorite Japanese resto’s, and tonight, just before watching dinner, we decided to try it out.
Blame it on the impossible parking slots in Greenhills during weekends, that my heels and feet were harassed in great deal as my bestbuds and I had a long, long walk to the promised gastronomic destination. When we arrived , now I understood that my energy exerted to walk there was so worth it - we were eating real, real good food.
As we entered the restaurant, the ambience was really posh, and I loved the place. Well, enough of the red chairs and impressive teppanyaki tables, let’s get on with the dishes.

This flavorful sushi. Fresh, good. Sorry I’m not a sushi person so if anyone could tell me what this is I’d be grateful. Hahaha!
We weren’t served dishes in one plate or bowl, but rather, in front of the flat teppanyaki grill surface, with our designated servings. I got tempura , some beef, togue ( which I didn’t eat ), some oysters, and I had a bowl of tastefully sauteed fried rice.

Overall, the dining experience was great - I love the food, the price is just okay, not too expensive but not exactly affordable, but I’d go back here anytime if I want to dine in Japanese cuisine, since it’s not everyday that I find a great Japanese resto that fits my taste. *wink*
Of course, I’m not forgetting the wonderful, wonderful company I was with last Saturday. Love ya girls! ( and, boy! haha! )
