Here’s to the yummiest cheesecake I’ve tried in my entire life. Oh my love! This is nirvana!

Awhile ago, as I was strolling Shangri-la Plaza, checking out books at Powerbooks, and getting ready for dinner, I begged my folks to stop as I made a short detour, the moment I saw the sign, “Secret Recipe” about twenty feet away from where I was standing. I suddenly remembered the absolutely delectable cheesecake that my friend Carlo got me for my birthday, and I told myself that I had to take some with me home tonight ( and that was an ultimatum! ) I considered this a treat for myself as I finished a very tiring , but happy Saturday doing makeup workshops.

As I strolled in Secret Recipe, I was asking the girl over the counter which cheesecake had that delicious “cereal-like crust,” and she told me twas the Marbled Cheesecake, which she said, was award winning. It was priced at around 140 php per slice, and well as soon as I confirmed that that was the one I wanted, I took with me home 4 slices.

I’m not kidding when I say that this is the most delicious cheesecake I’ve tried in my entire life. It melts in my mouth, the wonderful creaminess and perfect taste - not too sweet, and not too “cheesy”. Tasted very very creamy and absolutely exquisite. It doesn’t end there - the crust is quite divine, and exactly what I’ve been looking for. Crush oats as crust of the marbled cheesecake ends my dessert time perfectly. And now, I am sighing in content with my one true love. It shoots very good vibes straight to my soul! I swear I’m going to make a trip again to Secret Recipe once I get the chance to go to Shangrila-Plaza or The Fort again and buy me a box!

..and yeah, this baby’s best eaten, cold. Very very cold! I am telling you now to get some and enjoy this dessert with me!
