Yummy Singaporean Adventures : Baked Rice at Bencoolen Street

After a tiring day of walking around the city, and conquering six floors of the Funan Digilife Mall, I was ready to go home, and as I met my flatmate Dee there, she promised a good, comfort food that would definitely be worth a ten minute walk despite my tired, worn out muscles. She promised to let me try one of her favorite dishes - Baked Rice.

After walking around, which is not really my thing because I have just started exploring the city and all I frequent are places that are nearby the MRT station for safe access, we finally reached Bencoolen Street, and across the Hotel Bencoolen, we went in a “hawker” place with no name, but I saw this certain sign called M11@Bencoolen. That must be it?

Tasting Heaven in Angel’s Kitchen

Saturday night was just so rainy that my date L and I had to brave the floods ( the car, at least ), get all soaked in rainwater ( which, I might say, strangely pains my muscles ), to be able to find a place to grab dinner and chitchat. I left L to decide where he wanted to have dinner, and when we were in the Greenhills area, he asked me, “Would you like to try Angel’s Kitchen?” I immediately said sure since I think I’ve heard of it before, but I’ve just never had the chance to try it there.
