As I will be based in Singapore for the next couple of months, I’ve been trying to explore the wonderful food here! During my last visit as a tourist, I only got to try a little, and I did not enjoy it too much except for the No Signboard and Pasta Brava experience I had. Now, I have all the time in my hands to explore the food offered by the very cosmopolitan city/country of Singapore!

On my first night, we walked around Toa Payoh, a very nice neighborhood full of buildings, blocks, and houses, and stumbled into a hawker place. A “hawker,” as I learned, is some sort of a foodcourt, that offers affordable priced food, with a wide variety of dishes ( Indian , Italian, Chinese, Malay, etc. ). I’ve been sticking to those ever since I arrived here with the hopes of saving money, but tell you this - they really have delicious food !

My Ultimate UNO Experience

It was another Saturday night, and most Saturday nights are spent with me and my best buds doing something together. One thing that I enjoy most doing with them, is well, checking out and hunting for good restos. My best buds , three of them, have discriminating tastebuds, and I could not ask for more with recommendations as I never go wrong with them! But for this Saturday night, it was my sis C, our resident chef, who gave me a nice reco - UNO at Tomas Morato.

C had her dining experience with her friends there roughly 2 months ago, and she was craving for the very fragrant barramundi fish ( honestly, I haven’t heard of that before! ). She told me it was relatively affordable, and UNO changes its menu twice a month, so I made reservations for three ( one of us couldn’t come ) for Saturday night.
