My Ultimate UNO Experience

It was another Saturday night, and most Saturday nights are spent with me and my best buds doing something together. One thing that I enjoy most doing with them, is well, checking out and hunting for good restos. My best buds , three of them, have discriminating tastebuds, and I could not ask for more with recommendations as I never go wrong with them! But for this Saturday night, it was my sis C, our resident chef, who gave me a nice reco - UNO at Tomas Morato.

C had her dining experience with her friends there roughly 2 months ago, and she was craving for the very fragrant barramundi fish ( honestly, I haven’t heard of that before! ). She told me it was relatively affordable, and UNO changes its menu twice a month, so I made reservations for three ( one of us couldn’t come ) for Saturday night.

A Very Chinese Sunday Lunch

The reason why I love the weekend is that my world stops and I am able to do something different from the things I do from Monday to Friday. This week, I was down with asthma, so I was able to spend my Saturday at home, with my mom, as we spent a quiet ( and Chinese ) dinner of steamed spare-ribs, fried dumplings, and fish fillet.

I am Filipino-Chinese, and it’s in my blood to have an affinity for Chinese food. I just love everything about Chinese food, and it tops as my favorite cuisine, to be followed by Spanish, and Korean. I think that I would never get tired of Chinese food, because I like it when it’s smokin’ hot ( I am feverish with hunger when I see a cup of hot and sour soup ) , and I like it when it’s cold, too ( ala-cold cuts, shrimp salad , mango sago…yum!).
